Treehouse Living at Leisure Resort

Did you always wish for a tree house – a special place to call your own? You still want one, don’t you? You can have it! Your dream is real at Leisure Resort Campground!

Celebrate life in your personal treehouse, perched high in a tree with a view of the San Marcos River. You can make it uniquely yours by bringing your own linens and pillows, cooking and eating utensils.

Your treehouse is a 12’×12’ room with an air conditioner/heater, a bunk bed with 3/4 mattresses, a wooden table, mini-refrigerator and microwave. Enjoy a covered porch upstairs, lockable door, and electricity. Downstairs, relax on the concrete patio with evening light, picnic table, fire ring and barbecue grill.

Come Down from the Treetop

Hike the trails along the river, play miniature golf, basketball, and horseshoes. Cook your dinner on the BBQ grill or pick up firewood at the drive-thru camp store and build a fire in the fire ring. It’s a great time of year to enjoy outdoor cooking and dining under the stars.

Build a Fire and Cook Your Dinner

Light up the BBQ or build a fire in the fire ring. All you need is hot dogs, buns, condiments, marshmallows, chocolate bars, and graham crackers. Your camping-out dinner has all the basic food groups you loved as a kid…frankfurters and s’mores. Roast the hot dogs over the fire. Plunk them into buns and slather with mustard or ketchup.

And for dessert, your youthful favorite – s’mores – are all grown up! Make them the traditional way or try these modern variations. Instead of chocolate bars, marshmallows, and graham crackers, try using peanut butter, frosted graham crackers, bananas, and dipping in a glass of milk.
